Amber Brooke Benson, APRN, CNP

Amber is originally from Omaha, Nebraska, but moved to Minneapolis to attend the University of Minnesota where she graduated in 2004 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Physiology. She returned to Omaha to complete her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing at Clarkson College in 2008, but then came back to the Twin Cities area and worked in intensive care for the majority of her pre-FNP nursing career. While working on her Master’s Degree she completed her pediatric rotation at Wayzata Children’s Clinic. She graduated from the Family Nurse Practitioner program at Clarkson College and enjoys working with children of all ages. She is also a Certified Breastfeeding Specialist. Amber, her husband David, and their children Molly, Andrew and Graham currently live in Plymouth. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, gardening/landscaping, Minnesota sports and spending time with family and friends.
