Angela Lee Matthews, APRN, CNP

Angela Matthews is a neonatal nurse practitioner at Children's Minnesota in the Minneapolis NICU. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the College of St. Catherine. Angela then worked as a registered nurse at Children's, Minneapolis for several years prior to receiving her Masters of Arts in Nursing at the College of St. Catherine. She published her thesis in Neonatal Network.

Angela's areas of interests include pain management and palliative care at the end of life. She currently enjoys working as a provider to high risk neonates, attending deliveries, leading neonatal transport to outlying hospitals and participating in the medical management of infants at Abbott Northwestern Hospitals Special Care Nursery.

Angela lives in Minneapolis.
