About The Provider
Carolyn previously worked as a registered nurse at Children's of Minnesota on the Diabetes / Medical-Surgical floor and the pediatric intensive care unit before moving out of state. She rejoined Children's in the fall of 2009. Her areas of interest include; diabetes education, treatment and maintenance, as well as management of other endocrine diseases, such as thyroid conditions and growth hormone deficiency. She also sees patients at the Diabetes teen clinic in Woodbury. She is focused on providing patient and family centered care.
Carolyn enjoys traveling, reading, running and spending time with family and friends.

She is the first provider that has been able to actually get my daughter to engage with her in a conversation about her diabetes. She was loving and kind and very knowledgeable for what was needed for the conversation.
