Cheri Lynn Friedrich, DNP, APRN, CNP

Cheri Friedrich, DNP, APRN, CPNP-PC, IBCLC, FNAP, FAAN is a pediatric nurse practitioner and Clinical Professor at the University of Minnesota. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, her Masters of Science and her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from the University of Minnesota and a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Certificate at the College of St. Catherine's. Dr. Friedrich currently practices as a pediatric nurse practitioner at Neignborhood Health Source. She sees patients from newborn to young adults in a primary care setting. She is also certified as a lactation consultant. In addition to her work in clinic Dr. Friedrich coordinates the DNP pediatric nurse practitioner-primary care area of study at the University of Minnesota. In this capacity Dr. Friedrich is the Co-Director of Interprofessional Education with the Center for Interprofessional Health. In this role she works to ensure that students across the health sciences engage in interprofessional health care experiences. She enjoys the mentoring that she is able to engage in, both in her clinical role and in her academic role.
