Christopher S. Vara, M.D., is a board-certified pediatric orthopaedic surgeon. His special areas of interest include: cerebral palsy, foot deformities, hip dysplasia, limb deficiencies, lower extremity malalignment, lower limb angular deformities, spina bifida, and spine deformities. Dr. Vara has practiced at Shriner's Children's Twin Cities in Woodbury, Minnesota since 2015, after relocating from Cook Children's Medical Center in Fort Worth, Texas, where he practiced for 8 years following fellowship. Dr. Vara is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery, as well as the Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America. He lives with his wife and 2 Labrador retrievers in Saint Paul. He and his wife enjoy Orange Theory Fitness, fishing, jogging, winter skiing, and hiking.
