Daniel Alan Saltzman, MD

Dr. Daniel Saltzman is a pediatric surgeon who sees patients at the University of Minnesota Masonic Children's Hospital and Children's Minnesota. He sees a full range of pediatric surgical issues. Dr. Saltzman is originally from the Panama Canal Zone and is fluent in Spanish. He is a graduate of the University of Minnesota Medical School and Surgery Residency. He completed a fellowship in pediatric surgery at Arkansas Children's Hospital.

Dr. Saltzman's areas of expertise include surgical robotics, neonatal laparoscopy, pediatric surgical oncology, and chest wall deformities. Dr. Saltzman's research focus is the genetic modification of salmonella for cancer therapy.
