We felt very vulnerable and concerned about our child's diagnosis, and in that moment of need we (and our kiddo) were treated with the utmost care and consideration from the front desk to the specialty providers. We left feeling very grateful for everyone we interacted with.

Our cardiologist was amazing. He took the time to listen to all of our concerns, not even heart concerns, other health concerns that we're having, listened to us, did a full exam on our child, got the testing done that we needed that day, and had results in a very timely manner. I would definitely recommend going back to this provider.

Great bedside manner, thorough physical exam and explained findings and what he was testing in an easy to understand manner. I work as a PA and I have high expectations for doctors and providers who my family sees. Dr Opp and his team exceeded expectations.

Prompt, kind, and offered easy explanations

The doctor did not explain things in a way that a 14 year old would understand; it was extremely technical. He also brought up that she may not be able to have children some day, which has not been brought up to our family before. The way he explained it was too technical and not intended for a 14 year old, and without any concern about how heartbreaking that was for her as a 14 year old and for me as her mother. He was not optimistic and way too matter of fact.

We were very appreciative of all of the staff from receptionists when we first walked in to nurses and doctors and ultrasound techs and just everyone that we interacted with was very helpful and clearly cared.

Dr. Opp has been amazing since we first got to Children's and hasn't changed ever since. He is caring, attentive and doesn't dismiss our questions. I appreciate him drawing pictures as that's how I learn.

He was very good at his job and very good with kids

I didn't feel as though the provider examined my baby thoroughly enough given our reasoning of being there for her heart/breathing. The Dr placed the stethoscope on my daughter's chest in 5-6 placements for quick milly seconds (impossible to hear). We were there for her breathing/fast heart beats and I left with still uncertainty and needing a second opinion.

He listened to us, and responded to our questions clearly. He had a good knowledge of his field and had good suggestions. He was very helpful and encouraging.

We appreciated how much time he took with us. He was very knowledgeable and was the first to really acknowledge and explain her conditions. He gave wonderful recommendations to manage her symptoms and health.
