Ethan Christopher Bassett, MD, is a skilled Otolaryngologist specializing in children with disorders in the nose and paranasal sinuses, aerodigestive tract, the ear and head and neck pathologies. He completed a fellowship in 2017 in Pediatric Otolaryngology at the Texas Children’s Hospital following his residency at Thomas Jefferson University in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. He received his Doctor of Medicine at the University of Maryland, School of Medicine, where he was the class vice president. Bassett received his Master of Science and Bachelor of Science from American University. He has presented his research on a national level at numerous conferences and has been involved in research leading to multiple publications. He is certified by the American Academy of Otolaryngology- Head & Neck Surgery.
Dr. Bassett's wife is an accomplished physician, as well, and they are parents to two young boys and an English Bulldog. Dr. Bassett was a former competitive swimmer, having been a finalist at the 2004 Olympic Trials. Now in his free time, Dr. Bassett enjoys competing in triathlons, including multiple half and full Ironman events.
