Dr. Griffin attended medical school at the University of Virginia. He then completed a head and neck surgery residency at the University of Michigan. Following residency, Dr. Griffin was awarded a one-year NIH-funded research fellowship, during which he studied potential uses of electrical implants for facial paralysis.
Given his artistic nature, Dr. Griffin then completed a fellowship in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery in Los Angeles. He has a passion for caring for children and adults with facial paralysis, and is one of the nation's experts in this field. Dr. Griffin also enjoys ear reconstruction using rib or medpor.
