Jaime Ashley Hensel, APRN, CNP

Jaime is a family nurse practitioner with a deep and longstanding interest in pediatric palliative care, thrilled to be at Children's Minnesota. She grew up in Atlanta but received her master's in nursing at Yale University. Upon graduation she worked as a primary care provider at a community health center in Seattle for several years. She left Seattle to pursue her lifelong dream of working in Antarctica (at the South Pole Station!), then afterwards moved to Alaska for a fellowship in palliative care. When not working, Jaime enjoys canoeing and sailing, reading, sewing, and playing the fiddle.
