Jeffrey Lynch, MD MPH, attended medical school at the University Iowa, followed by an Internship at Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago and Ophthalmology Residency at Saint Louis University. He chose to specialize in the care of children with eye problems by completing a fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology at the University of Iowa. He provides care at Children's Minnesota St. Paul campus, as well as outpatient care in Woodbury (MN), New Richmond (WI), and Hudson (WI). His areas of interest include routine, medical, and surgical treatment of a wide range of pediatric eye problems, including Strabismus (eye alignment), Amblyopia/Lazy Eye, Blocked tear ducts, Chalazia/styes, Uveitis, special needs & non-verbal children, systemic medical conditions affecting the visual system, and providing routine eye exams and eyeglasses for children with simple refractive error. He is the CEO and founder of Respectacle.org, a non-profit eyeglass recycling company that delivers glasses to underserved individuals in the USA and abroad. He and his wife enjoy spending time with their two children as well as a variety of outdoor sports and activities.
