About Jennifer Marie Platt

About The Provider

Jennifer Platt is a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner at Children’s Minnesota in the Float Pool. She received her Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Minnesota in 2013 and a Bachelor’s in Nursing from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire in 2003. Jennifer was an active duty nurse in the United States Navy from 2004 – 2009 and then continued to serve in the reserve component while working toward her doctorate. She worked in Pediatric Neurosurgery at the University of Minnesota from 2013 to 2017 before joining the Emergency Department at Children’s where she worked from 2017-2023. She continues to moonlight in the Emergency Department and is now a member of the Childrens Provider float pool helping to improve access in the Children's Minnesota Primary care clinics.
