Jesse Lenhardt Hennum, MD

Jesse Hennum, MD is a hospital doctor at the Minneapolis and St Paul campuses of Children's Minnesota, and at Abbott Northwestern Hospital. As a Med-Peds Hospitalist, he sees hospitalized patients of all ages. His goal is to help improve the lives of patients and families, especially those affected by complex chronic disease. He is originally from south Minneapolis and is a graduate of Washburn High School, Northwestern University and the University of Minnesota Medical School. He completed a combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics residency at the University of Minnesota in 2007 and served as chief resident in Pediatrics from 2007-2008. He lives in Saint Paul with his wife and three sons, and has volunteered with other Children's physicians on medical mission trips in Vietnam, Liberia, Ethiopia, Uganda and Bangladesh.
