Jill Carlson, APRN, CNP

I was an RN for over 35 years and worked most of my time in the Operating Room as a Circulating Nurse and Scrub Nurse. I worked in various areas of Surgery, including General, Plastics, Orthopedic and Neurosurgery. In late 1998, I became an RNFA. After returning to the Midwest from Arizona in 2001, I continued working as a Circulating Nurse and was employed by HealthEast Bariatrics. At that time, I continued my education with getting my RN to BSN, then furthering my education by obtaining my FNP. I joined Surgical Specialists of MN in October of 2015 and became an Allina employee April 1, 2017; our group is now called Allina Surgical Specialists. I love getting to be First Assist in surgeries, and seeing my patients both pre and post op.
