Joel Patrick Spalding, MD

Joel Spalding, MD is a child and adolescent psychiatrist working at Children's Minnesota since October 2016.He attended medical school at the University of Minnesota and completed his adult psychiatry residency and child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at the University of Wisconsin in 1999. He practiced at St. Cloud Hospital until moving to Children's in October of 2016. His areas of particular interest are appropriate pharmacological treatment of mental illness, collaborative care with medical and other mental health providers, inpatient psychiatry consultation, preventive, wellness and lifestyle interventions for health.
