Joseph Christopher Presson, DO

Dr. Presson decided on a career in medicine while working with children and young adults with disabilities in Dubuque, IA. He received his medical degree at Des Moines University, completed pediatric residency at University of South Dakota in Sioux Falls, and pediatric hematology/oncology fellowship at University of Wisconsin in Madison. He is particularly interested in social determinants of health, palliative care, and survivorship of patients who have conquered their cancers. When not at the hospital, he loves being involved in his faith community, baking with the magical combination of sugar and saturated fat, and spending time with his wife (who he prays never wises up to being way out of his league), their four wild children, and grumpy miniature poodle.
