Joseph Leo Arms, MD

Joe Arms, MD is an Emergency Department Staff Physician at Children's Hospitals & Clinics of Minnesota. He provides care at the Minneapolis and St Paul campuses as well as the 212 Medical Center. Joe attended medical school, residency and Chief residency at the University of Minnesota-Minneapolis. He completed his fellowship in Pediatric Emergency Medicine at Children's Minnesota/University of Minnesota. Joe joined the staff at Children's in 2007. He holds the rank of Adjunct Associate Professor of Pediatrics, Family Practice and Community Health at the University of Minnesota School of Medicine.. His research interests center around infectious disease, process improvement, and management of foreign bodies. He served as the director of the Emergency Medicine Fellowship and lead the creation of several quality improvement projects. He is board certified in pediatrics and pediatric emergency medicine.
