Kristina Marie Duncombe Lowe, PhD, LP

Kristina Lowe, PhD, is a licensed psychologist at Children’s MN Center for the Treatment of Eating Disorders (CTED). Dr. Lowe graduated from Brigham Young University in 2017 with her Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology. Her training emphasized psychological and behavioral work with children and adolescents in pediatric medical settings. She has worked with several different medical sub-specialties, including eating disorders, sleep, diabetes, pain management, and more. Her training emphasized evidence based assessment and treatment of youth coping with medical issues, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral concerns. After her Pediatric Psychology Residency at Alfred I. DuPont Hospital for Children/Nemours, she completed a Pediatric Fellowship at Children’s MN, specializing in Eating Disorders. Dr. Lowe is dedicated to providing evidence based care to each family. She is trained in several treatment modalities for children, adolescents, and families, including family-based treatment (FBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy-Enhanced (CBT-E), the Unified Protocol for the Transdiagnostic Treatment of Emotional Disorders, and more. Dr. Lowe participates in research and is particularly interested in examining treatment outcomes for youth with Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID).
