Dr. Hendrickson grew up in Minneapolis and then in Rancho Palos Verdes, California.
Dr. Hendrickson graduated magna cum laude from Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, MN with a degree in biochemistry. She attended medical school at the University of Pittsburgh and completed her residency in general pediatrics at Brown University in Providence, RI. Dr. Hendrickson completed her fellowship in pediatric critical care medicine at the University of Minnesota prior to joining Children's Respiratory and Critical Care Specialists. She is Board Certified by American Board of Pediatrics Critical Care Medicine.
Dr. Hendrickson has been working exclusively as a pediatric cardiac intensive care physician in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit at Children's Minnesota since in 2009. In addition to clinical work, Dr. Hendrickson is very interested in and involved in improving the safety and quality of the care provided in the Cardiovascular care center.
Dr. Hendrickson lives in Minneapolis and enjoys kayaking, biking, hiking, and cooking in her free time.
