About The Provider

My husband and I moved to Chicago for medical school at Loyola and then went to California to UCSF Children’s Hospital of Oakland for my residency. We are excited to move back to Minnesota with our dog after all these years. I enjoy all aspects of Pediatrics from birth through teenage years. My special interests include children with complex care needs, Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, immigrant populations, and mental health (anxiety, depression, eating disorders). I enjoy spending time with family and friends, hiking, biking, exploring parks with my dog, and baking.

      Dr. Zimny did a wonderful job listening to my concerns and proceeding with imaging. This helped to discover something very rare and serious in my child. I'm very grateful for her excellent, skilled & compassionate work.

      Just an all around great experience - always! She is very informative and provides the best patient care. Whenever my sons have tests done - she calls right away with the results and answers any questions that I have.
