Matthew James Hamilton, MD

Matt is a Palliative Care Physician within the Department of Pain, Palliative Care & Integrative Medicine at Children's Minnesota. Matt attended medical school at the University of South Florida before entering a pediatric residency at Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital. He then completed his Hospice and Palliative Care Medicine, also at Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital. He completed his Fellowship in June 2024 and joined Children's Minnesota directly from Fellowship. He has particular interests in the care for children with neurologic and developmental disabilities, improving physician-family communication, and ethics.
