Melanie Ann Chihak, DO

Melanie Chihak, DO, attended the University of Minnesota for her undergraduate degrees in Biology and Radiation Oncology prior to medical school at Touro University California. She completed pediatric residency at Advocate Children's Hospital in Park Ridge, Illinois and pediatric hematology/oncology fellowship at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Dr. Chihak joined the Cancer and Blood Disorders Program at Children's Minnesota in October 2023. Her practice focus is the treatment of solid tumors in pediatric and young adults and pediatric cancer survivorship. She has additional interests in palliative care, oncofertility and medical education. In her free time, she loves spending time with her husband and two boys.
