Dr. Pryor graduated magna cum laude from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska with a bachelor of science in chemistry and attended medical school at the University of Nebraska. He completed his residency at the University of Nebraska, followed by fellowship training in pediatric pulmonology at the University of Minnesota.
Dr. Pryor served as pediatric lung transplantation medical coordinator during his fellowship and focused his research on chronic rejection of lung transplants. He is board certified in pediatrics and in pediatric pulmonology. Dr. Pryor has served as the associate medical director of the cystic fibrosis program at Children's Minnesota and on the Minnesota Department of Health Advisory Board for Newborn Screening.
Dr. Pryor's medical interests include asthma, cystic fibrosis, atypical pneumonias, and chronic lung disease. He has published articles and lectured on various topics, including lung transplantation and chronic rejection, pulmonary infections, asthma, respiratory control, diagnostic approach to wheezing and cystic fibrosis.
