I am excited to own my practice in a new medical space called Direct Primary Care (DPC). In this practice I am able to give direct care to my patients as I do not bill insurance companies. Patients pay me monthly and I am then available to them by phone, text or email 24/7. There is no deductible and no hidden fees and I can talk to my patients or their parents directly so this improves care and also reduces unnecessary trips to the doctors office or emergency room. I love building relationships with children and their parents and this new way of practicing allows me to do this. I offer extended visit times and even home visits now. I enjoy caring for children of all ages and abilities. I have a special place in my heart for children with complex medical needs and can give these children even better care as I am able to visit them at home instead of having them and all of their equipment need to be hauled into a clinic. I also enjoy treating children with pain issues, like headaches, as I have time to really spend with these kids and understand the root cause of their problems and help them live better lives.
