Michelle Tracy Ohnstad, DNP, APRN, CNP

Michelle is a board-certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from The University of Minnesota. She also has a certificate in Disability Policy and Services and is a Certified Lactation Educator. Her special interests include preventative care, underserved populations, breastfeeding support, and children with congenital heart disease. Michelle’s past pediatric experience includes several years as a Registered Nurse at Children's of Minnesota where she cared for patients in the cardiac intensive care unit.

Michelle enjoys seeing patients of all ages; from the adorable smiles of an infant, the curiosity of a toddler, and the excitement of a school-ager, all the way to the fierce independence of an adolescent/young adult. They all bring so much to Michelle's practice and for that she is grateful. Her dream is to someday be treating the children of former patients who have graduated from her care.

Michelle lives in south Minneapolis with her husband, son, and black labrador. They love spending their time enjoying all that south Minneapolis and the twin cities has to offer including the parks, hiking/biking trails, outdoor concerts, and local breweries.
