Olivia Rhett Hill Egan, DNP, APRN, CRNA

Olivia Egan completed her BSN education at Auburn University and her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree at Samford University in April of 2023. Her DNP project was: Videolaryngoscopy Versus Direct Laryngoscopy for Pediatric Intubation, which was presented at the Alabama Association of Nurse Anesthetists meeting in the Spring of 2023. Her critical care experience as a registered nurse took place in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Children’s of Alabama. As a nurse, she took care of critically ill children varying in age and diagnosis. Her interest in pediatrics is evident when acknowledging her experience as an RN, her research focused on pediatrics, and her decision to begin her CRNA career in pediatric anesthesia. She is married to Sean Egan. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, enjoying the outdoors, and traveling.
