Rachel is a board-certified Physician Assistant who earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Bethel University in Arden Hills, Minnesota. Prior to PA school, she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in 2016 from North Dakota State University where she studied both Psychology and Chemistry, and later her Master of Public Health degree from Capella University in 2019. During her graduate studies, Rachel conducted evidence-based research regarding the importance of shared decision-making with patients for improved health outcomes as well as international community service research implemented in Trinidad and Tobago. Growing up in a family of twelve, she always felt drawn to helping other children. Rachel was grateful for the opportunity to join the Children’s Neurosurgery team in December of 2023 where she could give back to the caring place she, herself, called home many years ago. She is devoted to practicing family-centered care and is passionate about helping others feel safe, comforted, and empowered. In her free time, Rachel enjoys running, painting, and spending time with her family.
