Rahul Madhav Tamhane, MBBS, PhD

I am originally from India. After medical school in India, I got a PhD in Biomedical Engineering with a research focus in cardio-pulmonary physiology. I did my residency in Internal Medicine / Pediatrics at the University of Minnesota. Since graduation, I have practiced as a hospitalist physician practicing both adult and pediatric medicine. Other than direct patient care, I have an interest and worked with multiple quality improvement projects in the hospital. I have lived in Minneapolis since 2000, have a family with 2 young kids. I love to travel, swim and golf in my free time.
