Robert Acton, MD is a Professor of Surgery and Pediatric Surgeon at Children's of Minnesota and University of Minnesota Masonic Children's Hospital. He provides the full range of Neonatal and Pediatric Surgical services, both open and minimally invasive. He has special interest in congenital anomalies, childhood cancer, visceral shunts for portal hypertension and Biliary Atresia. Dr. Acton is also very active in resident and student education. He also serves on several national committees for surgical education within the American College of Surgeons, Association for Surgical Education and American Pediatric Surgical Association.
