Sheldon Todd Berkowitz, MD

Sheldon Berkowitz, MD has been a Pediatrician for over 30 years and has been in practice at Children's Minnesota since 2001. He was previously the Medical Director of the General Pediatrics Clinic in Minneapolis for 13 years,He has recently retired from his clinical practice but continues to work as the Medical Director for Case Management, UM and Clinical Documentation Improvement for the hospital. Dr. Berkowitz went to medical school at the University of Colorado and completed his pediatric residency at Children's Memorial Hospital i(now Lurie Children's) in Chicago. He went into Pediatrics because he enjoys interacting with children and always tried to make their visits to the clinic as enjoyable as possible. He has a special interest in Bioethics and enjoys writing and lecturing on this subject.
