Sonia Marie-Liza Helmy Gercheva, MD

Sonia Helmy, MD, MHS earned her medical degree from the University of South Florida and completed her residency in Pediatrics and Internal Medicine from the University of Minnesota. She has a public health degree from Johns Hopkins in Maternal and Child Health. She speaks English, French and some Spanish.

Dr. Helmy practices a wide scope of Pediatric and Adolescent medicine, and takes special interest in literacy, refugee health, and equitable health for all.
