Dr. Stella K. Evans, MD loves caring for children and youth with special health care needs (CYSHCN) as part of a team that includes sub specialists, educational support, and psychological support. She believes that every child is intrinsically worthy, self-compassion does not need to be dismissed because someone else is hurting, and ability is not a good measure of value. She lives with her partner and children in Minneapolis, enjoying gardening, knitting, blogging about disability and equity, moving her body, and being present in the moment.
