About The Provider

Terese Amble, PsyD, DBSM, LP (she/her) earned a doctoral degree in clinical psychology from the Minnesota School of Professional Psychology in 2013. She completed a doctoral clinical internship at Tulane University School of Medicine, where she received specialized training in pediatric psychology. Dr. Amble completed a pediatric psychology postdoctoral fellowship at Nationwide Children’s Hospital where she received specialized training in acute and chronic pain management and medical trauma. Dr. Amble joined the professional staff at Children’s Minnesota in 2014, where she provides outpatient evaluation and treatment in Children’s Minnesota Psychological Services Clinic and Sleep Center. Dr. Amble is board-certified in behavioral sleep medicine (Diplomate Behavioral Sleep Medicine; DBSM) and her primary clinical interests include helping children and teens with sleep difficulties. Dr. Amble is also a certified Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) therapist and provides PCIT for the treatment of disruptive behavior problems in young children.

          The providers are very attuned to the details of our current state of sleep. Being specific and creative in how we support our child's sleep gives us a lot of confidence in what we're doing. The virtual appointment was convenient.

          Very good experience. High quality and very professional doctor. Thank you for listening to me and guiding us in the health of our son with Autism Spectrum Disorder. My son sleeps much better and wakes up with a better positive attitude.

          Dr. Amble is just wonderful. I know she's booked out very far but I can't help but recommend her to anyone I know with serious sleep struggles with their young kids, as her support has been truly life changing for us.
