Excellent care and answered my questions, alleviated any concerns, and we were in and out pretty quickly.

Staff was very helpful and very knowledgeable. The doctor was very thorough and knew everything about my son's situation.

The audio tech was fantastic, Emily is amazing with kids! We didn't have much time with the doc but he acted like he'd seen us before and we had never met him. He was clear in his communication and answered my questions, but I'd really see any provider and not make extra effort to go back to him.

Great communication with both me and my little one. I have never had a provider take time out of his day to return a phone call personally with questions I had. I felt heard for the first time in over a month and several different provider visits to get to this point.

The entire office was kind/welcoming. They also kept me informed when I was waiting. The doctor was knowledgeable and has set up referral for another avenue to explore for my daughter's ongoing health issues.

Overall, the staff was very courteous. We didn't have to wait long. It was a quick visit, you know, to see the doctor and get out of the place. So, truly appreciate being respectful of the patient's time as well.

He's adequate. It would be nice to have more time with him and his EQ could be improved.

Good afternoon. The doctor treated us very well and explained everything very well. And for that reason, I give him a 10. Thank you.

Good, but not over the top. Didn't spend that much time there.

Dr. Van Heest was efficient, fast. He taught us about what we saw on the scans and why our kid did not have to have surgery. He did a fabulous job explaining it to my 10 year old and to the family.

Nothing but effort is enough, thank you for your efforts, human beings.

I thought everything was done very well. Again, the person that checked us in, she was actually helping out from another department, I believe. She did an exceptional job. And again, the medical assistant, either Melinda or Melissa, I don't remember her name, but she was exceptional. I mean, almost like a friend of our family. She was so concerned about helping [our son] to understand that his exam was not going to hurt him. The doctor was very, very informative. He gave us the information that we needed, made us feel good, and helped us to understand what was going on with [our child].

It was excellent service. I liked how they treated my baby.

Long appointment wait times, waiting room times, time spent with provider
- 5 out of 5 starsReviewed on 5/11/2025
It was absolutely amazing from start to finish. We cannot say enough good things about everyone we came in contact with from front desk staff to the gal who did the hearing screen to the provider who we seen who will be doing our son's surgery to the scheduler who scheduled surgery and postop appointments.

We are so grateful for the answers we received. Our son was hospitalized in St. Cloud and they couldn't provide us the answers that Children's did. It's been extremely emotional and scary. Everything was relieved when we finally came to Children's.
